You can get on with your evening, knowing someone has checked on Mum today.

A friendly, regular phone call to your mum or dad, from the same familiar person each time. A short update to you after every call. And if we cannot reach them, we tell you the same day.

From £30 a month. No contract.

Arrange a call

When you live an hour or three away, the hardest part is not the distance. It is the wondering. Did Dad eat today. Did Mum sound like herself on Sunday. Would anyone notice if something was not quite right.

Reassurance Calls answer that quiet worry, gently and regularly. Someone your loved one comes to know rings them at a time you choose, has a proper chat, and quietly notices the things that matter: eating, sleeping, mood, steadiness, keeping up with daily life. After every call, we send you a short, plain update. You will not have to wonder how the week went. You will know.

The part that helps families sleep at night

If we call and there is no answer, we do not simply move on. We try again a little later, and if we still cannot reach them, we let you know the same day. A missed call is exactly the moment a family wants to hear from someone. With us, you will.

How it is different from anything else you have looked at

Not a call centre. The same friendly person every time, someone who gets to know your mum or dad, not a stranger reading a script.
Not an alarm to press. We reach out first. You are not relying on them remembering to raise the alarm when something is wrong.
Not medical care. This is companionship and gentle watchfulness, not nursing, personal care or a health service.
Not just a chat. Every call comes back to you as an update, so you are always in the picture, wherever you live.

How we keep this safe and trustworthy

A phone call to someone you love should never come from just anyone. These are the standards every caller must meet before they make a single call on our behalf:

Carefully recruited, identity verified. We check who someone is before they ever represent Oakman Care.
DBS-checked before their first call. Every caller has a criminal record (DBS) check in place, and current, before they speak to your loved one.
Trained in safeguarding and confidentiality. Every caller is trained to notice concerns, respect privacy, hold boundaries, and speak with warmth and care.
The same familiar person, not a rotation. Your mum or dad talks to someone they come to know, never a stranger from a queue.

If we ever have a concern about someone’s wellbeing or safety, we follow a clear safeguarding procedure and involve the right people. Our full safeguarding approach is available on request.

We also ask your loved one for their agreement before we begin, and we only share updates with the family member they are happy for us to speak to. It is their information, and we treat it that way.

Reassurance Calls are companionship and wellbeing support with reporting to the family. They are not a medical service, an alarm system or emergency cover. If you are ever worried about someone’s immediate safety, call their GP, NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
