Human care. Early support. Better outcomes.
OakmanCare exists to make support proactive and human, noticing small changes early, so people can stay well, independent and connected at home.
Why OakmanCare exists
OakmanCare was founded by George Sarfo, a certified health and safety professional (CertIOSH), on a simple belief: support should not only begin when life becomes difficult. It should begin early.
Too often, families only discover something was wrong after a fall, a hospital stay or a crisis, when the signs had been quietly building for months. A missed meal. An unsteady step. A lonely week that becomes a lonely month.
That is why OakmanCare focuses on prevention, wellbeing and independence. Through friendly reassurance calls and regular wellbeing visits, we help people stay connected, confident and independent at home, and we keep families informed every step of the way.
Meet Our Team
Alongside our founder, experienced advisors help keep our service safe, practical and professional.
Linda Fornah
Home Visit Safety & Compliance Advisor · Part-time advisory role
Linda believes that good support starts with creating safe environments, for the people receiving support and for the people delivering it. Drawing on her health and safety experience across major construction, infrastructure and commercial projects, she helps Oakman Care develop safe home-visiting arrangements, practical risk management and strong compliance processes.
Her input helps our team deliver non-regulated wellbeing and community support safely, confidently and professionally.
Juliet Brobbey
Quality, Safeguarding & Wellbeing Advisor · Part-time advisory role
Juliet believes the best support begins with listening, understanding each person’s circumstances and helping them stay well, independent and connected to their community. She brings extensive NHS experience and postgraduate study in Occupational Health (MSc), with a strong focus on wellbeing, quality and safeguarding awareness.
As a part-time advisor, Juliet helps strengthen our wellbeing approach, quality standards and safeguarding awareness, ensuring Oakman Care’s non-regulated community support stays person-centred, professional and delivered with dignity and compassion.
